In order to pursue oneness in the body, we try to create environments to intentionally put people of all backgrounds together to share stories from their cultural expressions-both the joy and the pain. It help us to be, as author and Equal Justice Initiative founder says, "proximite" to one another.

conciliation

Reconciliation assumes that there was Conciliation at one point between different ethnicities. With the exception of Genesis 1&2, there was never a time in history when humanity was wholly conciliatory. We are part of a greater body of believers in our denomination called the Evangelical Covenant Church that recognizes this work. There is a more holistic and global effort to pursue greater unity.
